Our team attended this event that was held at the luxurious Melia Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Después de ocho temporadas, el clásico torneo de República Dominicana ya no se jugará y en su lugar, Americas Cardroom ya planeó otro gran evento que se disputará en San José de Costa Rica con cuatro fechas anuales: The Cage Live.
Todo tiene un final, todo termina. Y lamentablemente, el Punta Cana Poker Classic también. Después de ocho grandes temporadas, este clásico torneo de República Dominicana ya no se jugará más y así, la región se queda sin un bastión de poker que CodigoPoker supo acompañar durante años con memorables coberturas en vivo.
Sin embargo, Americas Cardroom, el main sponsor del PCPC, ya tiene preparada otra fiesta para reemplazar ésta que llega a su fin: The Cage Live, que se jugará a lo largo del año con cinco fechas a disputarse en San José de Costa Rica .
La sede de este nuevo evento será el Hotel Taormina y la primera parada será del 16 al 19 de marzo, mientras que la segunda se jugará del 25 al 28 de mayo, la tercera del 27 al 30 de julio, la cuarta del 28 se septiembre al 1° de octubre y la quinta, del 30 de noviembre al 3 de diciembre.
Cada parada tendrá eventos de dos días de duración en formato de cash games, pero lo que está en juego es aún más grande y la acción será mucho más intensa. Lo que es todavía mejor es que cada domingo desde las 18.00 ET la sala está entregando tres paquetes valuados en US$8.000 que cubre el buy-in de US$5.250, hasta tres noches de alojamiento, US$800 en aéreos y US$1.000 para gastos y transporte al aeropuerto.

Punta Cana All Inclusive
The fourth annual Punta Cana Poker Classic takes places at the stunning Hard Rock Café & Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from Monday 11th November and features a $500,000 guaranteed Main Event with a buy-in of $1,500 + $150 and a High Roller Event with a buy-in of $4,600 + $400.
Organizers have now added eight side events to the “Classic” schedule which will include several live qualifiers into the Main Event and High Roller Event, plus a couple of two-day tournaments towards the end of the week with more modest buy-ins.

Book Your Place Early to Avoid Disappointment
The next Super Satellite to the Americas Cardroom-sponsored Punta Cana Poker Classic is scheduled for Sunday August 11th – the same night as Americas Cardroom will be doubling its weekly feature tournament guarantee to $100,000.
The $100,000 guaranteed tournament is likely to offer plenty of value to discerning players, as the site rarely manages to attract more than 300 players to its $200.00 + $15.00 event (when it has a $50.000 guarantee). A big overlay is anticipated.
