Name has changed and now owned by Ceasers. We only stayed one night. When we arrived, there are signs stating 'No Semi Trucks'. We pulled in and found security to verify if it was okay to stay the night. They said RV's are allowed, just no semi trucks. We stayed in the lot furthest from the casino, which is across the street from the race track. There was nobody else there. A bit of highway noise, but not terrible. It was just very hot in July!

Yes, the RV parking is in a Very large lot across from the casino toward the highway with easy access. Casino is a good distance out of town and so a bit of a drive to good grocery and fuel (fuel is there at that exit but at 'highway' prices). There is quite a bit of highway noise being so close but security was good and shuttle service to casino was Very regular. Good radio / tv reception and lots to see and do in Indianapolis. Did not visit the casino this time so I have no insight there. Lots of room for Any size RV and people were very receptive and welcoming.

We stayed on a Saturday night and arrived somewhat late so we ended up parking across the street from the racetrack and new casino near the old white tent like building. It was also Kentucky Derby day so the place was packed. There are shuttles that go around all areas of the lots frequently but the walk is not too long either. When signing up for a player's card you receive a booklet of coupons that can be redeemed for up to 90 days including 2 for 1 buffet, Buy an entree in the NASCAR restaurant and get an appetizer free and 3 different $5 free play coupons. The NASCAR restaurant was ok but the buffet was one of the best that we've had for only $12.95. You can also receive a $5 free play within 10 days if you give them your email.

Indiana Grand Racing & Casino (formerly Indiana Live!) is a racino (horse racing track and casino) in Shelbyville, Indiana. It is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. It is the closest casino to Indianapolis. It offers gaming, restaurants, a gift shop and entertainment. The 233,000-square-foot (21,600 m2) facility has over 2,300 slot machines, and as of Jan 1 2020, Indiana Grand features live table games. It was built at a cost of more than $250 million.

The facility's racetrack is named Indiana Grand Race Course. Dining options include Clubhouse Dining, El Grande Taco Lounge, Bear's BBQ, OTB Bar, and The Backstretch Cafe. The casino also offers dining at a brewpub with off-track betting, and as of September 1, 2019, the brewpub was approved to offer Sports betting. a buffet, a cafe, and a steakhouse.

Indiana Grand has hosted musicians such as The Buckinghams, Grand Funk Railroad, Duke Tumatoe of REO Speedwagon, Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits, The Lovin' Spoonful, The Box Tops, Paul Revere & the Raiders, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Kentucky Headhunters, Fuel, Marc Cohn, All-4-One, Color Me Badd, Ginuwine, Ludacris, and comedian Mike Epps.

The racetrack was previously known as Indiana Downs.[1] The casino opened on March 13, 2009 as Indiana Live! Casino. It was renamed Indiana Grand Casino in June 2012, and rebranded as Indiana Grand Racing & Casino in February 2013. Centaur Gaming purchased the casino in February 2013. Caesars Entertainment acquired it in 2018.[2]

Indiana Grand offers live Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing from April through October. The track is affiliated with three OTB parlors around Indiana, in Clarksville, Indianapolis, and New Haven.
